Prize poem number two.

I once passed by a city in the light of the sun
A city, where I want to live in my dreams
I think of this city when I have to flee and run
And when I wake up from my own screams

I saw the people in the light of the sun
A people laughing and dancing, and happy, to me.
Of this people I wished to be one
And at nights, that is what I dream

I met an angel in the light of the sun
She was so lovely, I could not believe
But I had forgotten love, when I had to run
Her smile made me a thief

The girl in the light of the sun
Reminds me of the girl in my dreams
From her, I had learned not to shun
With her, I had conquered my screams

In the city in the light of the sun
Peace reigned supreme
Cruelty was known to none
I learned there was a place for me to dream
